I serve as the media spokesperson for Christian Science in Ontario, and the Legislative Liaison for Canada.

I keep in touch with news editors and reporters on various issues relating to Christian Science and health-care.

My media work entails keeping abreast of news that reports on local and global thought changes towards health care.  I see a trend towards treating the ‘whole person’ – body and mind.   In my blog www.christianscienceontario.com, I explore each week the new avenues of changing thought and reflect on the connection of spirituality to health.

My legislative work on both the provincial and federal level involves the legal accommodation of the practice of Christian Science, especially as it relates to health care.

Please feel free to contact me by email or phone, or post a comment on my blog.

Welcome to this page. I am a full time Christian Science practitioner of spiritual healing, and the spokesperson for Christian Science in British Columbia. I love connecting with people in conversations about spirituality and health, and especially the role of prayer in healing. I also co-moderate a multifaith discussion blog, Spiritually Speaking,  on the Victoria Times Colonist website.  http://timescolonist.com/spirituality. Come and join the conversation.

Do you have comments or questions about spirituality, health and religion? Share them here or call one of us. Conversations clear up misunderstandings, lead to better communication between us all, and widen our horizons.

Throughout Alberta, religion is quietly being lived and practiced in the daily lives of principled individuals, including Christian Scientists. I feel that the spiritual values engendered in people by religious practice are of bedrock importance to the health of society. And whether or not people identify themselves as “religious,” our collective sense of core values maintains honesty and ethics both in government and in the media.

It is my privilege, as Committee on Publication, to be available to meet and talk with a diversity of people in Alberta, particularly with the media. I am happy to be available to provide factual information about Christian Science.

Jesus’ intent for his teaching was to give his understanding to all mankind, regardless of a person’s religious views, social status, or depth of understanding. It is meant to be incorporated into whatever we do. It uplifts our thought – opens our thought to all the good that is all around us. His teachings empower the individual to take control of the cause and effect in their lives to bring blessing for ourselves and to those we associate with.

Mary Baker Eddy wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scripturesin this spirit – to “bless all mankind,” not just denominational Christian Scientists.
